The Gills Creek Watershed Association held its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 13 at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, an early and strong supporter of creek restoration efforts.
EDENS was honored with this year’s Watershed Wonder Award, for their exceptional efforts to protect the watershed during the development of Cross Hill Market, as well as continuing efforts to improve, and encourage others to improve, stormwater management at development sites. Lyle Darnall, EDENS Managing Director, was there to accept the award. (Below)

Gregory Sprouse (Below), Lewis Kirk, and James (Buddy) Adkins were also honored for their excellent and generous contributions to the GCWA.
Board elections were held, and we warmly welcome our new Board members –Bryant Davis, Scott Elliott, Andrew C. English, and Sally Huguley – and those reelected for a second term – Madilyn Fletcher, D. Michael Kelly, Trish Jerman, and Valerie Marcil.
