Join A Committee

Much of the work of the Gills Creek Watershed Association is carried out by our committees. Committees are volunteer-led, and all members are invited to participate in the committee(s) of their choice. Contact coordinator@gillscreekwatershed.org for more information. 

Technical Committee – Wrenn Barrett, Chair (ewbarrett@jmt.com)

The Technical Committee plans and oversees projects, monitors government initiatives that have the potential to affect the watershed, and identifies priority areas for future action. The committee typically meets at 4:00 pm on the first Wednesday of the month at Jim Hamilton - LB Owens Airport. 

Education and Outreach Committee – Jennifer Satterthwaite, Chair (jsatterthwaite@fmeconsultants.com)

The Education and Outreach Committee engages with our community by providing volunteer opportunities, creating interactive programs, and participating in community events. The committee typically meets at 4:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Jim Hamilton - LB Owens Airport. 

Stewardship Committee – Frank Robinson, Chair (frank511@icloud.com)

The stewardship committee seeks partners and supporters for our work. It meets at the call of the chair at mutually convenient locations.
