Adopt-a-Highway & Clean Ups

Adopt-a-Highway!

The GCWA, along with Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, has adopted South Beltline Blvd from Plowden Road to Bluff Road.

The cleanups are scheduled 4 times a year on Saturdays. Meet in the Intertape Polymer Group parking lot located at 2000 S. Beltline Blvd. Reflective vests, trash bags, gloves and 'pickers' will be available.  See Calendar for dates and times. For questions, contact Mary Virginia Tynan, Outreach Coordinator.

We also work with many other organizations such as civic, student, and workplace groups to coordinate specific clean up events.  If your group is interested in planning a clean up, please contact Mary Virginia Tynan, Outreach Coordinator at maryvirginia.tynan@gillscreekwatershed.org.

If you would like to make a long-term commitment and adopt a roadway in the Gills Creek Watershed to clean-up and maintain, please contact Keep The Midlands Beautiful for more information or to sign up.
