The Gills Creek Watershed Association is thrilled to present the first in a series of Rain Garden Workshops to engage our community in being better stormwater stewards! This workshop will start at the beginning, with what rain gardens are, why they are important, and how you can create one yourself. Along the way, we'll learn about native plants, supporting habitat for wildlife, and improving water quality for ourselves and others. Whether you join us in person or online, don’t miss this chance to learn how you can make a positive impact in your community! The workshop kicks off at 7 PM, but feel free to arrive at 6:30 for snacks and conversation!
Many thanks to our partners Richland County Conservation Commission, Garden Club Council of Greater Columbia (GCCGC), SC Public Health Association's Smart Surfaces, and SC Wildlife Federation!
