Keep the Midlands Beautiful Creek Sweep

We are very excited to pair with Keep the Midlands beautiful for their annual Lake/River Sweep! In solidarity with our Gills Creek Watershed, we are calling our event a "Creek Sweep". Keep the Midlands Beautiful is Partnered with SCDNR and SC Sea Grant's Consortium's statewide Beach/River Sweep. This event has over 30 partners from the area to encourage the community to clean up the waterways we all enjoy. Come out on Saturday to be a part of this cause!

Equipment: We are providing all litter sweep materials needed (grabbers, trash bags, gloves, safety vests)

Please bring water and wear protective clothing (closed-toe shoes, long pants, etc). If you have bug spray or sunscreen, please bring it!

How to get there: Put Addison Pointe Apartment Complex into your GPS. There is street parking right by Gills Creek within walking distance from the apartment complex.
